Onyx Drive was established in 2019 by automotive enthusiasts who recognized a gap in Taiwan's luxury rental market. While standard rental services focused on volume and efficiency, we saw an opportunity to create something different: a service built around the actual experience of driving premium vehicles through Taiwan's diverse landscapes.
We started with a small collection of carefully selected vehicles in Kaohsiung, each chosen for its particular character and suitability to Taiwan's roads. Our founding principle was straightforward: if we wouldn't be comfortable recommending a vehicle to a close colleague, it wouldn't enter our fleet.
Over the following years, we expanded to Taipei and refined our approach based on direct feedback from clients.
